A wide range of options is offered to suit different needs. Placements are made on a first come first serve basis. Early application and enrolment is highly recommended to ensure that accommodation arrangements are confirmed. Accommodation reservations are made as soon as applications are received. Accommodation placement is confirmed when enrolment is completed and program fees are fully paid.
Participants receive the following details of the accommodation placement pre-departure, after enrolment is completed:
1) Accommodation address
2) Description
3) Distance from the school
Accommodation starts 12 pm on Sunday before the first day of the program until 12 pm on Saturday after the last day of the program. For example, a 4 week course starting on Monday, June 28 will have accommodation from Sunday, June 27 to 12 pm on Saturday, July 24.

Host Family
Living in a warm and welcoming Australian home provides an excellent introduction to Australian life. This option allows students to practise their English in a family setting and learn about life and customs in Australia. Host families are carefully selected and visited regularly, and are located 15 to 40 minutes from the Academy. A number of factors are taken into account, such as the cleanliness and comfort of the home, nature of meals (breakfast and evening meals are varied and balanced), family presence and their ability to welcome international guests. Students are provided with a single room in a family home. Half Board is provided (breakfast and dinner on weekdays and all meals on weekends). Towels and linen are provided.
Daily contact with the family members will quickly enhance your understanding of local customs and culture and is an excellent way to learn and experience the Australian way of life! Any special requests such as allergies, special diets, preference for a non-smoking household or no pets should be clearly stated on the Application Form and will be taken into account when placements are made (requests are subject to availability). Arrival details are required at least 30 days before arrival so to ensure that your host family will be ready to welcome you.
Shared Apartment
Live in a shared apartment with international and Australian students. Each room contains bed, desk, chair, and wardrobe. Apartments are self-contained, with TV room, shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. Apartments may have 2 to 6 bedrooms. Choose single or double accommodation.
Hotel
For 2 or 3 star hotels please contact WLE.
Additional nights before or after the program duration are subject to availability. For Host Family option, a maximum of 3 additional nights is available. For 4 nights or longer, weekly rates will apply.
In order to have access to your accommodation you will need to provide World Link Education with your arrival details such as day of arrival, time and place. This information is required at least 30 days prior to your arrival. For example, arrangements for keys to the studio or apartment are made in advance.
